At first I was pretty bummed that the 4
th of July landed on a Sunday this year, but I think I prefer it this way now because the weekend turned into a 3 day celebration!!! We had tons of fun. Saturday Cameron worked but I was planning on taking Addy to the
Kaysville parade but.....we didn't make it.
Adalee usually sleeps 7-8 hours every night (I know...she totally rocks, and I'm so so so lucky) but for some reason she didn't want to sleep Friday night. So needless to say we
skipped the parade so my baby could sleep in the morning. I was a little bummed but I kept thinking of how more fun she will have next year at all the 4
th of July events. My brother Martin has a
Snowie and Cotton Candy business and so they were busy at their booth in
Kaysville. We headed over later in the afternoon to see everyone and snag some free Cotton Candy and
Snowies. The rest of the evening was pretty
uneventful for us. I went home and cleaned my house for
Adalee's baby blessing Sunday.
Sunday we Blessed Adalee. I'll make a separate post about her Blessing day.
Monday Cameron had the day off so we ventured out to Layton for their celebration. My brother was also running a booth at this event too. So we went to see them and all the family that was there helping him. Addy did great being there pretty much all day. We ate some yummy phillipino food and I bought some cute Jewelry and Headbands for Addy. My bestest friend Coriann and her little girl also came over and hung out with us. We left before fireworks because I don't think the baby would do well and even if she did ok, she really wouldn't care.
Overall it turned out to be a pretty low-key, but great weekend!!!

I LOVE her 4th of July outfit. I wish I would have been able to see that weekend.
