Thankful #12, #13, #14

I know I'm behind so I'll try to catch up real quick. I don't get a lot done during the week that I work. (obviously...haha)

I am thankful for Siblings.

I must say I have the best brother and sisters in the world. I am the oldest of 4 and I love being the oldest. I was 3years old when Martin was born, 5 years old when Jessica was born and 10 when Rebecka was born.

This was taken in 2006. We have all grown up a bit since then. :)

Martin was my first play-mate. From the minute Martin was born I wanted him to be able to do everything with me. I played cars with him and he played barbies with me. (He's going to kill me for saying that) We got along great.....most of the time. He loves to be outdoors and is an awesome hunter. I'm proud to say he is my friend. I can come to him for anything. He is always willing to listen to me or help me out.

Jessica is my look alike, and Adalee's baby look alike. She is so sweet. This girl doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Martin and I used to tease her so much when she was little(sorry sis) But we loved to play with her also. She is creative and spunky and beautiful. We have definitely grown closer at we have grown older. So glad she's my sister.

Rebecka is my Best Bud. I've called her that since she was little. I packed her around with me everywhere. I was her little Mommy and loved taking care of her. She still says to this day that she has 2 extra mom's when Jessica and I are around. hehe. She's the gorgeous blondie! Rebecka is hilarious and energetic and so much fun to be around. Love her to pieces.

Thankful #11

Being Veteran's Day....It's no surprise that today I am very thankful for all the men and women who risk their lives and leave their families to defend our freedom. Many of my family members are retired from the military and I have a brother-in-law who is currently in the Air Force. What wonderful examples they are to me. Thanks to all those serving and those who served in our armed forces!!!

Thankful #10

Today I am thankful for mine and my family's health. Right now Adalee and I are sick, which is what inspired this post. This is the first time Adalee has ever been sick, she made it 6 months without catching anything and now the poor thing has an ear infection. I'm also thankful that she was born a very healthy baby. I know many families struggling with illness and health problems of their little ones. Now that i'm feeling a little under the weather I will try to remember not to take my good health for granted.

Thankful #9

I know most of my thankful posts have been some-what serious......so to lighten things up a bit......I am thankful for BOOGIE WIPES!

I love these things. Poor little baby caught her first cold and these have been a lifesaver. They don't make their little nose dry and hurt, and they smell WONDERFUL. Thanks Boogie Wipes for saving Addy's little nose.

Thankful #8

My Grandma Willora was an amazing person. I have so many wonderful memories of her. Although during her last years here on Earth she did not remember who I was.....I will always remember her for her love, kindness, and amazing sewing skills. She passed away 3 years ago and I know everyone misses her so much. Some days I wish I could share Adalee with her, but I know she is watching over her everyday. I am thankful for My Grandma Willora and her wonderful example.

Thankful #7

I am thankful for Daylight Savings. Well, only in the Fall. I'm not a fan of losing an hour. Daylight Savings is one of those things that the more you think about it, the weirder it is.....anyway I very much enjoyed the extra hour of sleep, and much to my surprise Adalee slept an extra hour too.

I am thankful for Bountiful Baskets!
For those of you who don't know what it is, its a produce co-op type of thing. You pay a fee of about $15 for each basket and you can get up to 3 baskets a week. We split a basket with my brother and sister-in-law every other week. I love it. Cameron, not so much. He's not a fan of Veggies.......Me on the other hand......LOVE Veggies. I like to try to get creative with what we receive each time. I've also been able to make a lot of baby food for Adalee with some of the things we get in the Bountiful Basket. I love making baby food, I know that sounds weird, but I actually enjoy it.
Yay for another Bountiful Basket today. Sorry Cam, Looks like a week full of eating veggies again. :)

Never Grow Up

Taylor Swift put my exact thoughts and feelings into a song. I'm sure all Moms out there can relate. Reminds me to cherish every moment with Adalee....she will only be a baby once.

You're little hands wrapped around my finger
And, it's so quiet in the world tonight
You're little eyelids flutter cause you're dreaming
So, I tuck you in
Turn on your favorite night light
To you, everything's funny
You got nothing to regret
I'd give all I had, honey
If you could stay like that

Oh, darling don't you ever grow up
Don't you ever grow up
Just stay this little
Oh, darling don't you ever grow up
Don't you ever grow up
It can stay this simple

I won't let nobody hurt you, won't let no one break your heart
And no one will desert you
Just try to never grow up, and never grow up

Although Cameron is currently out of town on a business trip(and we miss him oh so much), I am very thankful he has a job. I am also very thankful I have a job, especially since i know so many out there are struggling to find a job. Sometimes I complain about having to go to work because its hard not being able to see my baby or spend time with my husband, but it's better than having no job at all.
I also LOVE my job and the people I work with. I am very blessed to be where I am.

So today..........I am very thankful we are both employed!

Thankful #4

I am most certainly thankful for this good lookin' guy..........
Cameron and I met at Snow College 6 years ago. We were good friends for a few months before we decide to actually date each other......and after that it was all over.....we were hooked on each other!
Cameron is my best friend. He makes me laugh and makes me want to be a better person. He always supports me. I love that I can be myself with him. He is such an amazing dad. Adalee loves him so much.

Cameron is definitely my Better-half. He's my soul-mate and he's mine forever!!!!

Thankful #3

I am thankful for a sweet surprise I got from Cameron the other day............

He handed this to me a few days ago as an early Birthday Present. How cute is that????

I'm still reading up on all its cool features, but I'm super stoked to have a good camera....correction AWESOME camera. Pictures from the new camera coming soon. :)

Thankful #2

I couldn't post this yesterday because I was out late partying at the Lady Antebellum concert. hehe. So this is a day late but I'll post 2 today.

I am extremely thankful for this cute girl...........

Adalee is my everything. I would do anything for this sweet little girl.

She makes me smile everyday. She can always make a bad day all better. She is an all-around happy girl. It's hard to be grumpy around Addy!

I never thought I could love someone so much. I know it sounds cheezy and everyone says it....but it's so true. The love you have for your children is like none other.

I thank my Heavenly Father each day for this sweet miracle he gave us. Cameron and I have never been happier.

Thankful

I was reading my friend's blog and she decided to post everyday on her blog, something she was thankful for the whole month of November. I decided to copy her. (Thanks Lindsay for the great idea!!!)

Today I am thankful for my AMAZING grandma! She is my inspiration, my mentor, my example, my friend. She saved my life one day when I was 2 or 3years old(story for another day) She is the most spiritual person I know. This woman has great faith.....faith I hope to have one day. She was recently diagnosed with Cancer for a second time now. She is such a fighter and believer. I am grateful I have such a wonderful example of strength. I'm a better person because I know her. I could go on and on, but I'll stop there.
Today I am thankful for her.
